Manitowoc Foodservice (www.manitowocfsg.com) has been recognized by the National Restaurant Association as a leader in foodservice equipment innovation with three 2009 Kitchen Innovations Awards. An independent panel of industry experts judges the awards each year, recognizing trend-setting kitchen equipment thought to be among the most innovative in the world. This year’s winners include the gas version of the Frymaster Protector® Fryer, the Garland Xpress Grill, and the Quest EMSTM Energy Management System created by Lincoln Foodservice Products. All winners will be showcased with live interactive demonstrations in the Kitchen Innovations Pavilion during the National Restaurant Show in May 2009.
“We’re honored to be recognized by this prestigious group for our ongoing commitment to innovation and technology,” said Dean Landeche, vice president of marketing for Manitowoc Foodservice. “Our company excels at orchestrating the intersection of food, people and equipment to create exceptional food products—what we call kitchenology. The three products recognized this year are the epitome of our fundamental commitment to the equipment portion of that equation. Our investment in research and development, as well as our commitment to manufacturing excellence, allows Manitowoc Foodservice to consistently deliver the most innovative equipment solutions to our customers.”
