Manitowoc Foodservice Hires Lawrence Parks as Corporate Business Development Chef for Advanced Cooking Technology Team

New Port Richey Fla. - June 7, 2011 - Manitowoc Foodservice is pleased to announce that Lawrence P. Parks has joined the company as a new corporate business development chef for the Manitowoc's Advanced Cooking Technology (ACT) initiatives, reporting directly to Mark Richardson and supporting the ACT sales activity.

Parks has over 20 years of diverse experience in the foodservice industry including culinary experience, food brokerage and manufacturer representation, and regional operations experience.

Parks holds a Bachelor Degree in International Finance from Northeastern University, Boston, Mass., and an Associates of Science degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson and Wales University, Providence, R.I. In addition, he holds certification from the National Restaurant Association from the ServSafe program as a ServSafe instructor.
